Helped out

There was a man who build a bridge over the river and took a dollar from those who wanted to cross to the
other side. People didn't like this man, didn't even greet him. When he was dying, his son asked him about his last wish.

The father replied: "I was not kind to people. I was not loved during my lifetime. I would like to be remembered with a kind word after my death."

"All right," - the son replied, "I will fulfill your wish."

After the death of the parent, the son raised the price of crossing the bridge to 3 dollars.

"That scumbag," - the villagers said, "his father was a good man. Only asked for a dollar."
