Happiness ends the moment you open someone else’s stories.

Comparison is a quiet destroyer of joy. As long as you focus only on what is yours, everything seems fine—perhaps even good. But the moment you cast a glance at someone else’s life, what you have suddenly feels "not enough." Your hair isn’t quite right, your car is the wrong kind, your home is too modest, your vacation is too ordinary, your love life is "not what it should be." Envy isn’t necessarily malicious; often, it simply serves as a form of information—we catch a glimpse of someone else’s reality and forget that we have an entire, unique story of our own. And the more you peer into the lives of others, the easier it becomes to lose your taste for your own life.

What are your thoughts on envy? Is it better to know, or not to know?
