Let's be honest: this whole Titanic thing is just an anthem of hypocrisy.

A rich bride runs away from an oligarch groom (who, by the way, really loved her, gave her diamonds and saved her from death) in order to sleep in a car with a homeless man whom she has known for at most two days. And then the whole world has been whining for 20 years: «Oh, what a tragic love!»

What the fuck kind of love? This is a classic story about «I'm bored, I want an adventure on my ass.» Jack is a typical freeloader: no stake, no yard, lives in basements, draws naked women, but he knows how to speak beautifully.

And Rose, instead of appreciating the groom (who, let me remind you, did not leave her in the icy water), chooses a homeless tramp because «he understands her soul.»

And then, when Jack drowns, she also throws a diamond into the ocean — a symbol of her «great sacrifice.» Come on, darling, you got married quietly afterwards, had children, and only thought about Jack in your old age, when you didn't care anymore.

So Titanic is not about love. It's about how a woman traded stability for adrenaline, and then spent her whole life pretending it was «something sacred.»
